Triple PCIe 4.0 M.2
Prime TRX40-Pro is equipped with three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots that are compatible with the latest NVMe SSDs. All slots support up to 110 mm drives, and they can be configured into bootable RAID arrays for ultrafast data-transfer speeds.
Power Design
Prime TRX40-Pro is equipped with an enhanced power solution that includes 16 power stages to ensure your processor keeps up with your creativity as the sTRX4 is compatible with 3rd Gen Threadripper CPU's which requires serious power.
Multi-GPU Support
Fully loaded takes on a new meaning when you have up to 64 PCIe 4.0 lanes stemming from the CPU. These lanes can be split in an x16/x16/x16 configuration spanning the board's trio of PCIe x16 slots, allowing you to load up on GPUs to supercharge your work efficiency.
Memory
The TRX40 platform delivers ample bandwidth on multiple fronts. Its quad-channel memory controller supports up to 256 GB of DDR4 memory across eight slots. With the TRX40 you can drive your memory faster and to new heights.
USB 3.2 Gen 2
Plenty of USB ports are provided to support high-end rigs loaded with peripherals, including a front-panel Type-C connector with faster USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity for compatible cases.
Chipset Heatsink
Prime TRX40-Pro features an actively cooled heatsink to prevent throttling during sustained transfers, designed with the screws on top for easy access and maintenance which will reduce the heat flow to the chipset.
BIOS FlashBack
BIOS FlashBack is the simplest and safest (UEFI) BIOS update method. Simply drop the (UEFI) BIOS file onto a FAT32-formatted USB stick, plug it into the USB BIOS FlashBack port and press the button. Updates can even be performed without having memory or a CPU installed
Pre-Mounted I/O Shield

FlexKey
FlexKey, a newly implemented UEFI option, enables you to remap the rarely-used reset button on your chassis to a different function. You can reassign it to perform a safe boot, or to boot directly into the UEFI without needing to press the delete key.
Aura Sync
ASUS Aura offers full RGB lighting control with a variety of functional presets for the built-in RGB LEDs as well as strips and devices connected to the onboard RGB headers and they can all be synced with an ever-growing portfolio of Aura-capable hardware.
