Only charges at certain angles

Wiggling the cable to make it work means internal wire breakage. Cable failure is not far.

Power brick runs very hot

Warm is normal. Too hot to hold or a plastic smell means the components are failing.

Frayed cable or exposed wires

Any visible damage is a fire and shock risk. Stop using it and replace immediately.

Charging light flickers

How do I know which charger is compatible with my laptop?
Match three things: connector type, voltage and wattage. The easiest way is to read the label on your existing charger. Not sure? Send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Can I use a higher wattage charger than what came with my laptop?
Yes, as long as voltage and connector match. A laptop only draws the power it needs. A 90W charger on a 65W laptop is safe and identical in charging speed.
What happens if I use a lower wattage charger?
The laptop may charge slowly, lose battery during heavy use, or refuse to charge at all. It will not damage the laptop but is not a workable long-term solution.
Does the charger voltage need to match exactly?
Yes. A voltage mismatch can damage the motherboard or charging circuit. Small tolerances like 19V vs 19.5V are usually within spec, but always check the label to confirm.
What is the difference between a barrel connector and USB-C?
Barrel connectors are round with a specific size and pin design that varies by brand. USB-C is a universal reversible port, but only laptops with USB-C Power Delivery support can charge through it.
What is the difference between Original, OEM and Compatible chargers?
Original: brand-made, brand warranty, highest price. OEM: built to original specifications, mid-range. Compatible: third-party replacement matched to your model, safety-tested, most affordable.
Are third-party laptop chargers safe to use?

How do I find the right pin size for my laptop charger?
The pin size is printed on the label of your original charger alongside the voltage. Common sizes are 4.5mm, 5.5mm and 7.4mm. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will confirm.
