Recent Developments
[26-Apr] In this fight against the unknown enemy, our governments have announced control measures to contain the rate of infection. Shipping of orders and deliveries might be delayed due to the active control measures in-place. We will continue to serve you but we would appreciate your support and patience here.
[15-Apr] The recent developments in rising Corona cases in India is alarming and raises concerns for public safety & wellbeing. At TPS, we are actively working with logistic partners to keep this page updated with the latest information. Please note that shipments are very likely to be impacted by several days in many parts of the country. We have started to implement required actions at all our locations, especially warehouse facilities - for the health & safety of our employees, partners and customers. More updates soon.
[20-Jan] Happy New Year. While India gets ready for the vaccination plans, we observe rapid changes in comeback of logistics. Most of the PIN-codes across districts in India are now out of containment zones. Air-ship might still take little more time to be as relevant as it was before COVID-19 hit us.
[6-Aug] In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19, the government of West Bengal has declared a complete lockdown in the state. As per the update August 5, August 8, August 20-21, August 27-28 and August 31 will observe complete lockdown. Please expect a delay in pickups and deliveries as logistics operations will be impacted during this period.
[14-Jul] Recent announcements of full/partial lockdown in Bengaluru, Pune, Patna and other cities will impact logistics, and will delay shipping to certain areas. Depending on the distance of your city from Bengaluru, it may take anywhere from 3-10 days for the actual delivery.
[11-Jul] COD payment has been temporarily suspended on this website.
[9-Jul] Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, governments of Bihar and West Bengal have imposed a strict lockdown in their respective states. In Bihar, the capital city Patna was placed under a complete lockdown from 10th July till 16th July 2020. Similarly, both Kolkata and North 24 Parganas are under strict lockdown for 14 days starting 9th July. Please expect a delay in pickups and deliveries as logistics operations will be impacted during this period.
The long everyday battle
The coronavirus outbreak is foremost human tragedy that affects hundreds of thousands of people around the globe. It is also having a growing impact on the global economy. We have been working with leaders across government bodies and businesses with a perspective on the evolving situation, and its implications.
As the outbreak continues to infect more and more of people, we comply to the advisories by Government of India. We have been operating on 26500 PIN codes with the relaxations provided by MHA, covering all the zones - with and without restrictions. It may be noted that no deliveries are allowed in the containment zones.
The service restoration for deliveries to various regions keep on changing. We also keep updating the same into our PIN codes service feature when you are on a product page. As on date we got more than 26,500 PIN codes integrated into the system. However, the logistics dynamics on the ground are changing very frequently. Our database may not be accurate at all the times - in such situations, we do accept your orders to dispatch only when restrictions of non-essential items evolve.
We understand that further relaxations in various cities are measures to support our economy & our people. The pandemic however continues. We therefore advise all our customers to stay indoors - we are now delivering for you. We are operating less than 50% of our staff to maintain social distancing in our warehouse and workplaces. We are strictly following the guidance on all possible measure for zero contact secure transactions, safe packing and zero contact delivery.
As we have started shipping your orders after a long pause, we would appreciate your cooperation if you see initial delays in delivery schedule – we are working super actively to pick up the momentum again for faster and faster deliveries. Till we pick up the momentum again, we might not be able to serve you with expedited delivery at all PIN codes.
Cash On Delivery: We have received several requests from valued customers to keep "Cash On Delivery" (COD) payment option enabled. We continue to actively work with logistic service providers to evaluate the COD feasibility in various cities across India. Please refer to the "Recent Developments" section of this article to stay informed on COD availability. Regardless, following points must be noted in regards to the COD payment options:
- Not all logistic partners are supporting COD at this time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
- COD orders are likely to be confirmed by our team via a phone call, before the order gets processed and dispatched.
- Prepaid orders will be prioritized always.
- COD Payment option may not be live at all the times, due to COVID-19 uncertainties, and changes in policies.
We continue to support payments via Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, EMI and Wallets (including PhonePe & UPI). We also aggressively working with our payment gateways to enable more online payment options by integrating even more wallets and card less transactions.
Bengaluru Update: Bengaluru is our home, and we are closely monitoring the situation. We are committed to deliver ASAP across all PIN codes that cover urban Bangalore. We are also offering express delivery of all IT essentials, which can be opted just before checkout page.
Lastly, please avoid stepping out - at least for the products available with TPS Technologies. Stay indoors, stay safe. We are committed to deliver your orders on ASAP basis.
