Coming from an AMD Ryzen 3700X. For my workflow and use (heavy video editing/rendering & general computing), this CPU rocks. I was surprised to see some operations taking half the time to complete. The difference between waiting a half hour instead of an entire hour is a game-changer for me.

For the performance you get, this chip will last for a few years and handles games excellently. The 12700k does this perfectly. Be sure to get a Z690 board to unlock the OC capabilities of this CPU.
