Best B650 Motherboard right now if you have a little more headroom on your budget. i'm running a 7800x3d in there it's running smoothly. my main reason to this one was it wasn't too expensive and the ram compatiblity, PCie gen 4 for ssd and gpu, and good quality VRMS which you'll need for such powerful CPU. i've been a long time user of MSI products and never had any issues. can blindly recommend this thing :D

I brought this from offline store. Installation was super smooth. I have enabled DDR5-6400 and PBO on win11 . Bios is v17. I do not see any stability issue. My boot time are around 15s. Shorter boottime are after memory context restore enabled. One point to note, nvme heatsink is on m.2_3 which is connected to chipset. I moved nvme to m.2_2 which is connected to processor for improved latency. There are zero pcie-5 connectivity. This may not be necessarily a problem since pice4 is more than enough for most BW requirements in foreseeable future. There are 8 fan headers with custom curve control for each. This is a really useful feature to keep acoustic blanced with optimal cooling. Antenna connected to backpanel is useful. It's saves space, maintenance and is a neat solution.
I bought this motherboard in December 2022 for my all black build and this motherboard looks slick. I paired it with 7700X. This motherboard has good quality vrms. But It has no pcie5 lanes however pcie4 is plenty enough for my daily tasks. It has built in wifi and that too wifi 6, so my internet connectivity ha become blazing fast now. Msi has been rolling out frequent bios updates with good amount of improvements as AM5 is still an evolving platform. Their support team is also very customer service centric. Overall very happy with the purchase.
